A walk from Leek, Staffordshire

We walked in late January in a circle from Mount Road, on the eastern edge of Leek, Staffordshire, in a big circle that took us due east to Morridge, then south west to Revedge, then north west to join the Staffordshire Moorlands Walk, before returning to Mount Road. The day was sunny, but the ground was dire...waterlogged field after waterlogged field...which made the going very heavy. By the time we finished we felt as though we'd walked twice as far as we actually had. Not recommended as a winter hike!
